PolyGone Attended the US-China Clean Technology Industry Matchmaking Conference in China

In November 2023, PolyGone’s co-founders Yidian Liu and Nathaniel Banks were invited by the US-China Clean Tech Center (UCCTC) International Trade Administration to attend a series of cleantech industry conferences in China, with the support from US Department of Commerce.

This was the first Cleantech Trade Mission to China since the outbreak of COVID-19. With no further statement of importance needed, PolyGone Systems alongside with many other cleantech companies from US and China went on a 6-day, 6-city trade mission in Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Shanghai, Suzhou, Nanjing, and Changzhou. The trip introduced PolyGone Systems to China’s extensive cleantech ecosystem and encouraged us to network with potential partners and clients in the region. PolyGone also took advantage of this great opportunity to connect with the rest of the US delegation, all of whom were seasoned entrepreneurs in the cleantech sector with diverse and innovative products and services.

Throughout this trade mission, PolyGone Systems discovered an incredible amount of interest in China’s cleantech ecosystem for addressing the global problem of microplastic pollution. With the exciting connections we established and the insightful discourses along the way, PolyGone Systems is thrilled and ready to broaden our partnerships with industry leaders from US and China to forge new pilot collaborations and contribute to the global effort of protecting our water ecosystem.
