In earlier September 2023, PolyGone collaborated with researchers from University of Toronto and Dalhousie University to launch the first field deployment of PolyGone’s Plastic Hunter monitoring hub in the Lake 378 in Ontario, Canada. Researchers from University of Toronto and Dalhousie University will continue monitoring the microplastic pollution in Lake 378 using the Plastic Hunter for a month. The data collected and analyzed will be the fundamental support for further remediation and removal of microplastics in the lake.
